Wedding: Britt+Ryan

August 11th, 2008

I could flip through this couple’s photos and never get tired… they had such a beautiful bunch of people surrounding them to celebrate their marriage. Plus, there was a whopping 20-person wedding party… It might have been more, but I lost count. I wish I had more time to get to know them all a little bit more, but the day blew by so fast… Enjoy the photos and feel free to leave the newly-weds a comment.

2009 Seniors, ya’ll ready for a roadtrip?

July 24th, 2008

WHAT AM I SIGNING UP FOR? IS IT LIKE CHOIR?
Nope. This is waaaay better than choir. We’re heading down to la-la-land with a carload of seniors, and we’ll be taking pictures along the way. I said a road trip, I meant a roadtrip. Yep, roadtrip roadtrip roadtrip, woo hoo!

WHEN IS IT?
Saturday, August 30, 2008. It’s basically a day trip, we’ll be leaving Fresno early Saturday morning, and we’ll be back that night.

WHERE ARE WE GOING EXACTLY AND WHAT ARE WE DOING EXACTLY?
We’ll head down Clovis Ave., catch the 99 South… do you really want all the details? Long-story-short, we’re packing a car with seniors and roadtrip southbound, end up in Los Angeles, and take some awesome senior portraits while we’re at it. We’ll hit up some L.A. hotspots — Hollywood, the beach, Ralph Macchio’s house. We’ll eat some good grub too.

WHO’S COMING?
We’re looking for 5 seniors (graduating in 2009). One of your parents has to come (to gently nudge you to smile). I’m coming. Let’s throw in an assistant… that makes 12, ummmm, guess I have to get a bigger car.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Your purse (or man-purse), lightsaber, cell phone, change of clothes, whatever you want, just no firearms.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It’s $475 per senior. That includes the full-day session fee, transportation and a $350 credit to get some prints afterwards.

BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY. WHERE DO I SIGN UP?
Just email me — info [at] marianofriginal.com — Write “SENIOR ROADTRIP” on the subject. Please include your name, contact number, and your high school. And I’ll reply with all the necessary sign-up thingies. Remember, we’re only taking 5 seniors, so contact us asap to get in on it.

MORE QUESTIONS AND STUFF?
Restrictions apply, so just hit me up at the studio 866-704-8419 for all the details or email me: info [at] marianofriginal.com

Happy Birthday, P-Daddy!

July 23rd, 2008

Yesterday was my homie’s birthday… I didn’t forget ya, man… If you don’t know this guy, Perry Cooper is one of the most talented photojournalists in the 93626 zip code, LOL, and the front man of the PNCV, a local photographer’s network. Here, he’s thinking about the next member he wants to kick out, hehe… happy, happy birthday P!

Just wanted to share a few photos from a family friend’s wedding reception at Pangea last week. Yummy mini burgers, good company. Even had a minute to do a few quick portraits, then we hurried back before the mac-n-cheese got cold :)
